Primary 3 have been enjoying the ‘Teach to the Beat’ programme during their music lessons. Our theme this term has been ‘Savour the Flavour’, where we have explored different foods, food groups, and how to create a balanced diet.
We listened carefully to the song ‘In My Trolley’ and listed as many food items as we could hear in our shopping basket. We then practised the song together and discussed how to find the pulse and identify the tempo.
We finished our lesson with a mini disco, listening to some of our favourite songs. We discovered that Primary 3 particularly enjoy songs with a fast tempo! #TeachToTheBeat
