Outdoor Classroom Day
21st May 2026
For outdoor classroom day P1S spent the morning making Minibeast masks, followed by a Minibeast hunt. Laughter, giggles, shrieks and squeals filled the air as we turned over objects and found lots of creepy crawlers underneath. Mrs Crothers managed to catch a huge bee ?.
A few weeks ago we received a special delivery of baby caterpillars in the post. We watched them munch and munch, growing bigger and eventually changing into cocoons. Yesterday 3 beautiful butterflies emerged.
Today we sad a sad farewell as we released them. A few children got to hold the butterflies before they flew off.
