It has been a fantastic return to the football season with both our boys’ and girls’ teams showing great effort, teamwork and determination.
Week 1 – Boys’ Fixtures
The boys kicked off the season with a tough match against Newbuildings. Despite working hard throughout the game, they were defeated 5–1. Bryson found the net for our team with a well-taken goal.
The boys bounced back brilliantly in their second match with a superb 4–1 victory over Glendermott. It was a great team performance, with goals from Harrison (2), Jake (1) and Bryson (1). The team showed great resilience and attacking play to secure the win.
Week 2 – Girls’ Fixtures
The girls began their campaign against a strong Oakgrove side. Although the result was a 5–1 defeat, the team showed great determination, and Maisie scored an excellent goal.
In their second match, the girls produced an outstanding performance to earn a 0–0 draw against a very tough Ebrington team. The defence worked tirelessly and the whole team showed great spirit and teamwork.
A huge well done to all the players who represented the school so proudly. We are looking forward to many more exciting matches this season!
