Today we said a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful Vice Principal, Mrs. Hegarty, as she officially retires. This morning’s special assembly was filled with smiles, memories, and more than a few tears.
To show our appreciation, the pupils gifted her a garden bench — perfect for enjoying many cups of tea in between gardening, a beautiful piece of jewellery from Sproules, a travel bag for her future adventures, a Bosnai plant adorned with Sycamore ribbons, and a paper apple crafted from the pages of her favourite book.
Thank you, Mrs. Hegarty, for your years of dedication, kindness, and leadership. You’ll always be part of our school family. Wishing you joy, relaxation, and endless cups of tea in this new chapter!
