The season has kicked off with two cracking games and plenty of goals to celebrate!
First up, we faced Newbuildings in a really close battle. Both teams gave it everything, and the match was end-to-end from the start. We pushed hard right to the final whistle, but it finished 3–2 to Newbuildings. Our goals came from Jeffrey, who bagged himself a brilliant brace!
The team didn’t let the result get them down, though. In the very next game against Glendermott, they showed exactly what they can do – coming away with a huge 5–0 victory! The goals came thick and fast: Jeffrey added another 2, Samuel and Jamie got on the scoresheet, and we even picked up an own goal from the opposition.
It was a fantastic all-round performance – great teamwork at the back, plenty of energy in midfield, and some clinical finishing up front. The boys are already buzzing for the next match!
